At the doctor’s office ~ ‘Breeding Seth’ @evernightpub #MWTease #gay #MPreg

MidWeekTease

Hey folks! Guess what day it is… Yep, it’s hump day. (: It also means Mid Week Tease day! Mid Week Tease is put together by the hostess with the mostess, Sandra Bunino. Authors participating in Mid Week Tease are sharing parts of their stories that are anywhere from being a WIP to a published piece.

This week I’m sharing some hump day, sexy goodness from my soon to be published story, Breeding Seth. It’s currently in the editing queue, and I’m waiting on my first round of edits to come through.

Breeding Seth is a story in my series called The Agency. It’s a gay erotic romance with elements of science fiction and contains a male pregnancy. Yes, you read that right. Seth gets preggers. The mystery is how? Here’s a sneak peek into the story.

They’d had such an intense reunion when Seth started working at The Agency. They’d needed to get over past hurts. He’d had to reveal to Seth his greatest secret about the encounter he’d had with an alien race. Then the two of them had to deal with their lust for each other with a lot of fast but intense fucking. Over the past few months, their relationship had tempered, and they’d fallen into a comfortable, loving relationship. There was no one else in the world for him now. If Seth was terminally ill, he didn’t know what he’d do.

“You know me. I don’t get rattled easily nor do I tend to worry about stuff. I mean, come on Zen, why waste the energy if you don’t have to, right?”

“Right.” Seth’s positive attitude happened to be one of the many qualities he adored about him. The kid had served in the military, seen battle, dealt with his ornery ass, yet Seth still looked at the bright side of life. He could learn a thing or two from him.

“Besides, deep down I don’t believe this problem,” Seth pointed at his bulging abdomen area, “is as serious as you’re imagining it is. I think the doctor is going to know exactly what’s going on and exactly what he can do to rectify it. It’s probably just some benign tumor or cyst that he’ll remove in a laparoscopic procedure.”

Before Evan could even form a reply to Seth’s interesting, but in his opinion delusional, notion about his health, the door behind them opened. He and Seth turned to see the tall, dark haired doctor enter the room.

With a somber face, the physician strolled into the office, carrying a folder filled with papers, not saying a word as he rounded them and the desk. He tossed the file onto the desk, sat in his chair and leaned back.

“Doctor Hayes? What’s the word?” Evan didn’t want to wait a second longer to learn the news about Seth’s condition.

“Well, gentlemen, I have to say Seth’s case had my colleagues and I pretty stumped.” Doctor Hayes’ southern drawl had a soothing quality. “As you know, Mr. Trivos, we’ve run a number of tests on your blood and put you through the gamut of exams. I just have some more questions as we wait for one of my associates to join us.”

Evan’s gut rolled. More questions? Another doctor? His worst fears about Seth’s illness seemed to be coming true, and there was nothing he could do about it. Seth gripped his hand even tighter. “Were the tests inconclusive? What more do you need to know from Seth?”
